Editing Services by Liz Kazandzhy
I am a thorough and insightful editor focused on making text clear, concise, and consistent. Along with fixing mechanical errors, I love to help clients improve the flow of their writing so that it’s engaging, impactful, and easy for readers to digest.
I specialize in editing nonfiction, especially self-help, religious, and academic content. I also greatly enjoy working with technical content and helping corporate clients. My ultimate goal as an editor is to make sure nothing distracts the reader from the author’s important message.
I currently work for Cedar Fort Publishing & Media, where I’ve edited and typeset 50+ nonfiction manuscripts. I’ve also edited content for dozens of clients on Upwork, achieving 100% job satisfaction and performing among the top 3% of freelancers on the platform.

How It Works
If this is your first time hiring an editor, no worries! Here’s what you can expect from the process.
1
WE DISCUSS
Send me an email at thewatchfulwordsmith@gmail.com and tell me all about your project! Include the manuscript, what kind of editing you’re looking for, and what your ultimate goals are for the project. I’ll provide you with a quote and a timeline.
2
I EDIT
I’ll work my magic, editing your manuscript in the way we decide is best. Most of the time, this will be done through Track Changes in Microsoft Word, so you’ll be able to see every change I make. I’ll also leave comments with explanations, questions, and suggestions.
3
YOU REVIEW
When you get the manuscript back, you’ll be able to review all my changes, accepting or rejecting them. You’ll also have a chance to ask me questions if you find anything unclear.
